What happened?

200 years ago Baptists were united in support of separation of state and church.  To them the wall could never be to high.  What has happened?

1. Most Baptists are Baptists in name only
                           or
2. Now that we have ours (religious freedom) who cares about 1st amendment
                           or
3. Modern Baptists are not "old school" and have no desire to be
                           or
4. Are now greedy and want some of the government tax money (vouchers) to support their unscriptural auxiliary programs i.e. seminaries, schools, retirement homes, missionary efforts, orphan homes etc.?

5. Just ashamed to be Baptists and want the acclamation of the religious world?
